Join us for an unforgettable yoga retreat, cultivating personal growth and self-knowledge, as well as moments of relaxation, adventure and cultural exploration at the beautiful Quinta dos Raposeiros, just 40 minutes from Lisbon.

Immerse yourself in this stunning coastal haven and dive deep into 5 days of traditional hatha yoga, meditation, breath work, revitalising activities, sound healing, and savor healthy vegetarian cuisine crafted with local ingredients.

The physical postures of hatha yoga shall focus on mindful movement, alignment, balance and synchronising breath, so as to develop a contemplative attitude, helping participants improve their natural flow of energy and find harmony in both body & mind.

Walk among the greenness of pine woodlands, palm trees, wild daisies and hibiscus plants. The Quinta is certified for organic farming and you can literally eat apples, oranges, plums, figs and persimmons straight from the tree.

The Venue: Quinta dos Raposeiros

Tuning in to the sounds and sensations of the surrounding landscape that blends countryside serenity and beaches, the moment you arrive at Quinta Raposeiros, you are instilled with a sense of tranquility and peace.

Nestled on an 11-acre property, set among pine trees and fruit orchards, with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, this eco-friendly guesthouse incorporates sustainable practices like biological agriculture, energy monitoring, solar panels, and recycling, ensuring a harmonious balance with nature.

Practice yoga in a fully equipped and comfortable 150m2 rooftop wooden room with an ocean panoramic view.

Connect to the earth, its smells and sounds, or simply listen to the sweet twitter of birds waking you up in the morning. You may also take a refreshing dip in one of the pools thoughtfully integrated among lemon trees, flowers and pine woodlands. 

Practice with an experienced teacher

Led by Nicole Carp, a responsable Hatha Yoga teacher with over 900 hours of certified training, this retreat is designed for both beginners and seasoned yogis. 

As a resident instructor at Quinta dos Raposeiros since 2019, Nicole has a deep connection to this land, “her own healing sanctuary” and knows Ericeira like the back of her own hand. 

Nicole brings you authentic, science-based knowledge of yoga, conscious movement, and holistic living to support your well-being.

Activities

  • Tune into your inner peace and reconnect with your calm, simple, fundamental self.

    Yoga offerings include Shatkarma, Pranayama, Asana, Mudra, Yoga Nidra and Meditation.

    We shall practice in the rooftop Yoga Shala (room), overlooking the Nature Reserve of São Lourenço Valley. There will be an opportunity to do a walking meditation to the closest beach* through the protected valley.

  • Prāṇāyāma means the three parts of respiration: inhalation (puraka), retention or holding the breath (kumbhaka) and exhalation (rechaka).

    It is a way of controlling, directing and expanding vital energy called Prāṇā.

    Experience transformative techniques to calm the mind and energize your whole being.

  • Participants use a paddle and large stable board to paddle along the stunning Lizandro River with the best SUP guide in Ericeira!

  • Bask in breathtaking views of the Atlantic from our rooftop, the perfect spot for yoga practice, afternoon workshops, evening reflection and connection.

  • The session will begin with a focus on breathing techniques. Practicing proper breathing can strengthen the immune system, regulate hormone levels, improve sleep quality, and stimulate the production of endorphins, which elevate mood.

    Conscious breathing increases oxygen levels in the blood, resulting in more energy, reduced stress, and a stronger immune response to pathogens. These practices also help alkalize the blood, which is crucial since acidic blood is more susceptible to illness.

    We will conclude with sacred sounds and vibrations, fostering deep connection, promoting relaxation, cellular regeneration, and achieving balance on physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

our professional chef delivers high standard delicious meals prepared with love and kindness. Having a mediterranean vegetarian (sometimes vegan) menu in our yoga retreat is essential for providing you with a balanced and complete experience.
